In addition to the active ingredients within N°1, N°2 contains a few additional elements that help round out the complete PowerPlex hair treatment package.
Argan Oil
This plant-sourced oil has protective and cosmetic properties. Cosmetically, it immediately restores moisture and shine to damaged hair. You'll notice a softer, more hydrated look and feel. Plus it reduces frizz! In regards to protection, it helps shield hair from UV damage, high heat, and stimulates circulation for regrowth.
Stearalkonium Chloride
This oddly-named yet resourceful compound is what helps give N°2 its usefulness as a conditioner. Once mixed with an emulsifier, this creates a far more stable formulation in addition to amplifying conditioning properties. It's also an anti-static agent (which helps reduce frizz), a surfactant, and it has antimicrobial properties to boot!
Polyquaternium-7
You might also have heard of this as PolyQ-7. As an excellent cationic conditioning agent, it's integral for N°2's conditioning properties. It acts by forming a thin coating on the hair shaft, which is later absorbed. Like stearalkonium chloride, PolyQ-7 has anti-static properties that further reinforce N°2's ability to combat frizz.
