N°1 is a professional grade treatment centered around salon care as it includes the greatest amount of PowerPlex's active ingredients.
Any chemical treatment done on your hair places it under stress which can result in the disruption of your hair's disulfide bonds. Left alone, this can damage your hair causing it to fall out or look frail. This is where N°1 comes in.
Most Plex products contain a compound akin to PCA Dimethicone, which acts on your hair shafts to rebuild those broken disulfide bonds. PowerPlex uses Powerbond technology, which is a bifunctionalized silicon polymer of a very specific length that also contains pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (PCA). Thanks to these innovations, PowerPlex is 10 times more efficient and active than other traditional Plex products.
Furthermore, the specific silicon composition improves deposition to the hair relative to other salt complexes and has far less potential for unwanted wash-off. This will ultimately lead to enhanced performance, scintillating shine, cashmere softness, and improved combing under both wet/dry conditions.
N°1 treatment contains the highest amount of this active ingredient. It will protect existing disulfide bonds from damage while also repairing previously broken bonds from harsh treatments such as bleaching, over-treatment, or extreme iron use.
